Black holes

Black holes are regions of space where an enormous amount of mass is packed into a relatively small volume. Black holes are perhaps one of the universe's most interesting and mysterious phenomena. A great deal of knowledge exists today, but research continues as there are still pieces of the puzzle missing to explain these fascinating 'monsters'.
